On the 29th of May, WPIL finalized the acquisition of the 100% of Gruppo Aturia SpA (Italy) and its subsidiaries Rutschi Fluid AG (Switzerland) and Pompes Rutschi SAS (France). Gruppo Aturia has a consolidated turnover of 45 Million Euro with 250 employees operating in five locations.
WPIL is a multinational Pump Group with headquarter in India (Kolkata) listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange .
WPIL Group has a consolidated turnover of 120 Mln USD with facilities in India, South Africa, Australia and UK. WPIL employs approximately 900 employees through the different countries.
The Group is a leader in the production of pumps for power/municipal and industrial application with a strong presence throughout the Asia / Pacific region, Africa and supplies to more than 30 countries. The Chairman Mr. Prakash Agarwal declared that the target of this acquisition will be to develop the synergies, to increase the group revenues through cross sales, to optimize the product range manufactured in different world locations, to accelerate the innovation process integrating the knowledge of Aturia and Rutschi with the WPIL Group companies.
